  • Painting competitions
  • Other stuff that you may come up with that promotes Relics
  • Posting YouTube videos**

In addition, it is expected that all Rangers will show a online presence on community forums and the like promoting Relics when possible in a ‘non-spammy’ way.

*All of the activities can be done at B&M Stores, Shows and Clubs. Each club can only be demoed at once per 6 months. Any demos at a single club within a 6 month period beyond the first will not count towards the requirement of two events per activity period.

** You will need to speak to us prior to using this method as a activity requirement. We will assess each channel on a case by case basis and may consider some channels unacceptable.

Activity period and activities

The Activty Period is a rolling two month period. During this period each Ranger is expected to run at least two activities from the list above.

Probation period

Every Ranger must go through a probation period when they first join. This period lasts for up to 2 months and starts on the date we confirm their application to be complete.

During the probation period the Ranger will receive the Probationary Ranger benefits. If their probation is completed satisfactory by meeting all the requirements above they become full members and their benefits are increased to the full Ranger benefits.

Depending on performance, Tor Gaming may end a Rangers early and promote them to full Ranger status early but the maximum period of probation is 2 months.

Benefits

We don’t expect you to do this for nothing, oh no.

Ranger benefits

All Rangers will receive the following benefits:

Running an event

During each rolling activity period period a ranger must run at least two events. When running an event, you will need to:

  • Submit your event details to us at least a week before your event, but preferably earlier and include all the following information about the event. There is a web-form for this.
  • Post in the ‘Tor Gaming’s Relics’ Facebook group to let everyone in the group know about your event.
  • Also, post on gaming forums, Twitter, Facebook etc to promote the event.

After the event, you will need to:

  • Do a follow up report on the event and post it in the Rangers secret group on Facebook. This way other Rangers can learn from your reports to improve their events and provide feedback on how to improve their events.
  • Post the report on/in any blog and social media channel and group that you have access to and that allow such postings.

Failure to meet requirements during a single quarter

The length of a ‘demoted’ probationary period will be decided on a case by case basis and can be extended or reduced during the perion. All changes and decisions will be communicated to the Ranger at all times.

Failure to meet requirements during probation

If a Probationary Ranger fails to meet the requirements of the program as set out above during their probationary period without good cause they are removed from the program.
