Development by community, the next big experiment?

Tor Gaming, being an inquisitive bunch, wants to carry out an experiment using you, the wargames community. Fear not, no test tubes or chemicals will be used.

 
Many times, we have seen beta programs from various c
ompanies that allow the players to 'test' a company’s internally developed rule set just prior to it being released. How successful these programs are, we're not entirely sure (not having access to the data collected from these and the changes made because of it, it's very difficult to say).
 
We're sure they must be worth doing, why else would they be used? So, obviously, the community is worth using. But we want to see how far the community can take it. We want to go beyond the community 'beta testing' a ruleset.

First Unmann sculpts received

I received the first few casts from the Unmann production mould today.

Shouldn't be too long until the rest arrive!!

Very clean they are too. Paul at Firedragon Studio has done a grand job.

Expect to see them available for normal purchase in the next couple of weeks!!

We're moving forward again!!!

The caster has been in touch to let me know the rubber has finally turned up!!

He is now making the moulds and will be ready for release in the not to distance.

As such, at some point over the weekend I will post them onto the store for pre-order. Price to be confirmed.

Possible delays on the Orcnar Unmann models.....

It appears the caster has been having trouble getting the rubber to make the Unmann moulds. As such, I will not be putting them up for pre-order until I know for certain that the moulds are in progress.

We're really sorry if you were waiting for them to become available and we can only hope that this delay will not be for too long. If anyone would like to send us chocolates to comfort us during this difficult time, please feel free. ;-)
