The Cabinet

Welcome to The Cabinet.

A place of wonder and awe, where the unimaginable and the unidentifiable live alongside the homeless and lonely.

The Cabinet (TC) is intended to be a collection of models covering a wide range of genres and tastes. It is also a range that will generally grow in a organic manner.

We do not intend to commission many pieces for the range. The intention is for the range to be used by sculptors themselves to sell models they may have laying around doing nothing.

It is also a place for new sculptors to build a portfolio. It’s not always easy to get commissions as a sculptor if you have little to no proven track record. The TC is a place to change that.

Quite simple.

You, as a sculptor, can use the form on this page to send us submissions to the TC. These submissions will be existing sculpts that you have created and now want to sell.

When making your submission, provide as many pics of the models as possible, and make sure they are in focus!! We also ask you to specify an amount that you feel the work is worth.

We will review the submission and possibly make an offer for the work.

One important thing for you to remember is that as the TC is not generally a commission based range. We will not be offering commission based rates for work submitted to it. After all, the piece is probably just laying in a draw or on a shelf gathering dust.

When we make an offer, the offer may come in one form or another.

Firstly, we may make a one of payment for the piece/s. The amount we offer will be an amount that we feel is fair for the piece.

Alternatively, we may make a offer of a % of the sale price of the piece. This offer may also be limited to a period or total number of sales.

Maybe we will make an offer that included both options and the sculptor can choose their preferred option.

All payments agreements will be individual to the piece and agreed on by all parties.

We will not produce any old rubbish for this range, submissions need to display a level of competency and skill that shows on the models and makes them sell-able. Models with soft edges where there should be hard edges for example will not be accepted.

We will ALWAYS provide feedback on why we do not accept a piece and encourage you to rework and re-submit the piece if it is something we like but feel needs work.

If you have models you would like us to consider for the TC, please submit your items using this form.
