When registering for an account on this forum, please ensure you follow the rules below. By doing this you help us to filter out spammers and we can activate your account much faster.
Prior to registration:
- Choose a name that avoids classic spam-bot type names. So, stuff like 'JameG15783' just looks a bit dodgy and will result in us looking at the account content and potentially banning the account.
- Try and avoid webmail accounts for your activation email account. We realise this isn't always possible, but if you can avoid it then great.
Once registered, you account will need to be activated by a Tor Gaming forum admin. You can speed this process up by
emailing us at [email protected]. This is a very good way for us to know your not a spam bot.
From time to time, we go through the user accounts on the forum and delete accounts that have not been active for some time or have never posted etc. Please observe the following once you account has been activated to ensure we do not delete the account:
- If you have a gaming related website/blog, add it to your profile.
- Add a signature. A good, simple way to prove you are not a spambot is to include a gaming related signature. Artwork in signatures is allowed, so fill your boots.
- DO NOT include any websites/links to anything like casinos, medicine, the dreaded 'p' word or anything that is not gaming related.
- Post. Yes, the best way to avoid your account from being blocked is to actually make a post. That way, we will see that it is a real person and not a spam bot. Just say hi and you will be fine.
