The Battle Within and Without

I will start by apologizing for any incongruities with the true Relics fiction as I have not read Everything yet. I can only hope that as far as things go that it matches up okay right now. When I am more familiar with the Relics world I will no doubt attempt to correct any incompatibilities. So here goes! Let me know what you think!

A battle between the twisted form of nature and the perverted form humanoids. Who will win ultimately? Perhaps only people like Chronicler Dammeus and other Chroniclers like myself will survive, as the inhabitants of war torn Relica fray amongst themselves. Or will we all be drawn into the bloody feud inspired by the gods and all fall together.
What form will move over the empty dark face of the world at it's end? Will it decide enough is enough and close its eyes for good? Will the thoughts of the elements slumber, will they let new nature take hold, one not shaped by the corruption of intellect? Will pain no longer be inflicted for the purposes to inspire but inflicted as a warning to protect and deter the unwise? Will man and beast rise again from the murky waters of the past and all will live in peace side by side? And this entry into my chronicle along with all my other records sit in this damp cave, the parchment go damp and run the ink, and the leather rot and be food to these pestilent insects?
Fanciful yes but I can't help it, I must get out of here. The water is stagnant, the bugs take as many bite of me as I do of them. I must get out for my sanity's sake, out and past the cold watchful gaze of the Nuem. Surely soon they must be finished tormenting the dying Vaettir. Then they will move on and I will slip out and by, unnoticed, and find a nice warm meal and a soft dry bed.
