So what happened? Is this still in the pipeline?
« on: March 09, 2013, 12:47:54 PM »
Seems alright! I've always been a lover of skirmish games.
Still unsure about the active/reactive pools, but i'd need to get a game to work that out.  Seems that one player plays each turn while the other more or less watches.  In R:AL it seems more practical because it almost sets up a series of drives, within a limited playing area with no (LoS blocking) terrain.
The rest of the system seems pretty good though, any chance we'll get more than an early dev't copy, or is clash now a thing of the past?

It's on my list of things to do.

But to be honest, we release these systems as early dev rules for people to try out and feedback. This gives me a way to access how much interest there is before I carry on with it. The same with R:AL.

We have had little feedback so we push it down the list. If people want me to pump it back up the list, post your feedback. (feedback really should be from actually playing the game and not just running it through a mathshammer process)

I had a semi-sleepless night because of Relics Clash and the activation sequence.

I have a new idea for it. Taking it away from the R:AL type system so you won't get that feeling of one person doing all the work (although that's not the case but I see your point about it suiting a game like R:AL).

Need to test it.

I for one have just started looking at this. It looks like a really interesting system and I'll post up some feedback when I have a few games under my belt. It definitely needs bumping further up the list.
